In the first session of the Keats House production, the thing that was most interesting about Keats was that when he was in school he was bullied by many people and that he was in fights all the time and always getting called into the head master’s office.
In the second session of the Keats House production the thing that was surprising and interesting was that one day he went into and got into a fight and got called into the headmaster’s office but it wasn’t about the fight. It was about his father. The headmaster had to tell Keats that his father was dead; his horse had bolted and he fell off and hit his head. Keats had to be the one to tell his brother George. I thought that was interesting because it must have been really hard for him.
In the sessions of the Keats house production I learnt a new skill called storyboarding. Instead of talking we used freeze frames [to tell the] story.
In the first two rehearsals I most enjoyed working with new people and getting to know what we would be doing for the Keats house productions and what it is all about. I also enjoyed learning what the main character did when he was younger and what he had to go through when his dad died. The most challenging thing for me was getting to know new people and doing a storyboard without speaking.
